YouTube would make everyone’s lives much more pleasant if it allowed users to turn off autoplay…

Hmmm… the only time I get annoyed is when I load up somebody’s channel page and it auto-plays their most recent video. But for embeds it always gives me the choice to either play or not.

I was actually convinced this was an option on the account playback settings page, but it isn’t!

They used to allow users the option to shut off autoplay. Did they change that?

I don’t mind autoplay so much on Youtube, but I really, really can’t stand it on news websites.
