Not that long ago, I asked you to pick the worst movie titles ever. So it’s time to do the opposite:
What are the best movie titles ever?
I am inspired by today’s trailer for Cowboys & Aliens, which surely must be one of the most freakin’ cool titles in the history of cinema. I also particularly love the title of the recent indie Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead.
It doesn’t matter whether the movies attached to the titles ended up sucking. What matters is whether a title is so evocative, so imaginative, so funny, so weird, so whatever that just the title alone made you want to see the movie and hope that it would live up to the awesomeness implied by its name.
