In two parts:
Hey! That happened in Tom Baker’s last episode, “Logopolis”! Except it was with the Master’s TARDIS inside the Doctor’s TARDIS, and vice versa.
Oh, and did Amy just make that innuendo? She did!
Also: Why am I thinking of the line, “Chewie, looks like you better replace the negative power coupling”?
Stephen Moffat just wrote a fanboy’s dream: two Amy Ponds. With the Doctor and Rory somewhat excited over the possibility.
Forget TARDIS-inside-TARDIS: that’s how the universe ends, when fandom implodes in on the object of its worship.
I would have preferred two Doctors flirting with each other. Russell T. Davies would have given us two Doctors flirting with each other. Could we get a gay man back in charge of the show, please?
Ooo ooo ooo, we have the name of the next new episode: “The Impossible Astronaut.” Let the speculation commence.
