question of the day: What films have you lied about seeing?

As the obvious collary to yesterday’s QOTD — “Have you ever lied about liking a movie, and if so, why?” — comes today’s question:

What films have you lied about seeing?

As Todd said, when he suggested this QOTD:

I’m sure plenty of people lie about seeing films like Citizen Kane or even The Godfather.

Have you ever lied about seeing a film? If so, why? As with many other lies of all kinds, it’s often easy to get caught in a lie… but is it easier to pretend you’ve seen a movie you haven’t seen when the content of such a movie has been discussed so frequently that it’s easy to fake it?

(If you have a suggestion for a QOTD, feel free to email me. Responses to this QOTD sent by email will be ignored; please post your responses here.)
