question of the day: When celebrities clash, is it okay to declare winners and losers, or is that just too much meanspirited fun for mere mortals to have?

I’m stealing today’s question from the awesome Katey Rich of CinemaBlend.com, who yesterday tweeted:

Darren Aronofsky and Rachel Weisz split up; he goes on to have the biggest hit of his career, she marries James Bond. Who wins?

I’d call this one a tie, but that’s not always the case. Usually there’s a clearcut victor. So, whether you have some specific celebs in mind or wish to address the topic only generally:

When celebrities clash, is it okay to declare winners and losers, or is that just too much meanspirited fun for mere mortals to have?

Be nice… Oh, who am I kidding: Be mean if you must.
