Just for fun this morning I was goofing around with Google Analytics and came up with this diagram, which shows traffic to FlickFilosopher.com from January 1, 2010, through yesterday. Brighter green means more traffic:

I knew that most of my traffic comes from North America and the U.K., but I’m surprised to see the rest of the traffic pretty uniform across the rest of the planet. And except for a few African nations and Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in the former USSR, every country is represented. Who’s reading me in Greenland? I’m hoping, too, that some of the South America traffic actually represents the South Pole, which I believe does not have its own IP addresses.
Another surprise is how heavily Australia is represented. Here’s the actual number of visits for the time period, for the top 10 countries:

Hello, Australia. New Zealand, too: the ZN numbers are pretty good, considering how comparable small NZ’s population is. Is there anything I can do to help readers Down Under more? Like a listing of what’s opening in your neck of the woods? If you have a resource for movie release dates in Australia or New Zealand, drop a comment here.
