There I was just walking down the street minding my own business, whistling “Rainbow Connection,” and suddenly I was flabbergasted to realize that for all the many years — nay, decades — that Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy have been the on-again, off-again power couple of our time, no one has ever given them a power-couple nickname. That I’m aware of, anyway.
So I did what anyone raised with the catcalling of Waldorf and Statler in the background would do: I asked the Internet how we might best refer to this union of pig and frog. And the Internet rose to the challenge.
