question of the day: What useful, practical magic spells would you love to know?

Harry Potter magic spell

Yesterday I shared a link to a story about how J.K. Rowling is going ahead with her Harry Potter encyclopedia. I approved of this because, as I tweeted:

Oh, good. Need spell to get red wine out of white shirts.

And that got me thinking about the practical uses of magic. A magic spell to open up a parking space wherever you need it? That would be amazing. A magic spell to ensure that your morning egg is soft-boiled to the precise degree you like it? That would be awesome.

Your turn: What useful, practical magic spells would you love to know? For bonus points, give us the actual spell. (The wine spell might Vino evaporo!)

Have fun!
