watch Matt Smith run with the Olympic torch (and other adventures in social networking)

What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:
• This is hilarious. No, wait, it’s terrifying. Luke Russert, nepotist prince

• I want to know more about this: “[W]e recently rejected two requests from an organization representing a major entertainment company, asking us to remove a search result that linked to a major newspaper’s review of a TV show. The requests mistakenly claimed copyright violations of the show, even though there was no infringing content. We’ve also seen baseless copyright removal requests being used for anticompetitive purposes, or to remove content unfavorable to a particular person or company from our search results.” Google Official Blog: Transparency for copyright removals in search

• Watch Matt Smith run with the Olympic torch. (The reason he’s surprised people came out to see him isn’t coming from modesty, but because he was running at something like 6am.) Olympic torch: Communities unite around flame in Wales
