FilmCritic.com is just totally gone (and other adventures in social networking)

What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:
• What’s really depressing about this isn’t that it exists, but that it got to the point of existing without, it seems, a single person involved saying, “Stop. Wait. What the fuck are we doing here? Seriously, people…” “Science, it’s a girl thing!” says EU Commission, holding lipstick and bunsen burner

• Wow: FilmCritic.com is just totally gone. Disappeared, subsumed into AMC’s database. So now criticism cannot survive on the Web, either? Looking for AMC Filmcritic Reviews and Features?
