The Alliance of Women Film Journalists, of which I’m a member, will be giving an award for the Best Female Directed Film at Doc/Fest. I was on the jury for this award, and I’ll be helping present the award to the winning film on Sunday morning. (I may also present a screening of one of the nominees and host a postscreening Q&A, if we can get the schedule worked out.) I’ll post more about the winning film, as well as reviews of some of the nominees, after the festival.
