Because Daleks don’t care how you live or who you love — they want to exterminate you just as equally as they want to exterminate everyone else:

It was taken at Halifax, Nova Scotia’s 25th Gay Pride Parade [on July 28]. Hal-Con, the Halifax SciFi Convention (in operation for 2 years, and it is AWESOME) put in a float and entered their dalek. :)
