a keen observation about a Green Lantern buttshot cover (and other adventures in social networking)

What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:
• Guess I should have known I’m not the only one baffled and hilarified by those awful Chanel ads. (Yes, they’re running on UK TV too.) Can you smell what Brad Pitt is shoveling?

• “So, characters that are female or gay men get the butt shot?” A keen observation about a Green Lantern cover… Overheard at the Comic Shop

• In case you doubted that for some celebs, their children are a commodity to be exploited. Jay-Z and Beyoncé Can’t Trademark Their Kid’s Name

• I’d love to believe this, but I suspect the poll must have been conducted in, like, a book store. (Of course, reading *a* book per year isn’t so great, but the number is higher than I would have expected.) 75% Of 16-29 Year Olds Read A Print Book In The Last Year: Pew Research
