Bonfire Night — aka Guy Fawkes Night, aka November 5th — is like the Fourth of July (only much colder): tons of fireworks of both the professional and the amateur variety, including on whatever weekend nights are most proximate to the actual day.
The amateur, blow-your-hand-off-in-the-street variety are legal here (which they are not in New York), and this is the local shop in Morden. I don’t think I’ve seen it actually open before today…
