why media embargoes are a buzzkill (and other adventures in social networking)

What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:
• David Tennant is the Ten of Hearts, today at TeeFury. 10th of Hearts by WinterArtwork

10th of Hearts Doctor Who by WinterArtwork

• In some places, the people in power are actually afraid of journalists. Imagine that… Number of jailed journalists sets global record

• This. So very much this. Media embargoes: Talk about buzzkill

• The worst thing about this is that some overpriced style consultant got paid a ton of money to come up with this crap. Eyebrow shapes probably do not describe women who wear them

eyebrow shapes

• It’s kinda crazy how nuts people are getting trying to figure out what character Benedict Cumberbatch is playing in the new Star Trek. Who cares? It’s Benedict Cumberbatch in Star Trek. He could be playing a Starfleet janitor and he would be awesome. ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ picture names Benedict Cumberbatch character
