London photo of the day: in which Nigel settles in

Nigel the Charity Pig

Nigel the Charity Pig checks out the view from our new digs in Wood Green. (To Nigel’s left is Alastair the Vaguely Cactuslike Plant from Ikea.) He’s not sure about the new living situation yet, but he’s happy that at least there’s no cats.

(You may remember Nigel from his adventures with me and my BFF Bonnie — aka bronxbee — in and around Stratford-upon-Avon in the autumn of 2009.)

I hope Nigel the Charity Pig will one day be a picture book.

Plenty of other people’s gardens to rootle around in looking for acorns. Or indeed anything else vaguely edible…

There are cats *out there,* however…

Nigel! I thought he was going to be a thing, but then he wasn’t. But now he is. And should be.
