London photo of the day: missing Banksy

missing Bansky
The site where the Banksy piece went missing last week has become its own tourist attraction in Wood Green this week.

I swear it’s just a coincidence that it disappeared just after I moved to Wood Green.

The new graffiti to the right of where the original piece was:

missing Bansky

has only just appeared in the last day or two. The protective covering over it suggests that someone believes it is also Banksy’s work (unlike the graffiti to the left, which clearly isn’t Banksy’s).

More on the controversy at the Guardian.
