People just walk right over the concept of international political diplomacy in this town. At least they do over this plaque, in Grosvenor Square, home to several embassies, including the American, the Brazilian, and the Italian, as well as the Canadian high commission.

For good reasons, a friend of mine once found himself walking around Grosvenor Square with a four-foot-long cuboid box wrapped in black nylon on his shoulder. An experience to be avoided if you have any hair on the back of your neck…
