(I fucking hate St. Patrick’s Day. Tied for least-favorite-holiday-as-celebrated-in-the-US with New Year’s Day. It is so different in Ireland.)

I can see it now. An overgrown manchild hooks up with an “uptight” woman when they’re both drunk, and since all their friends are cheering them on they’re too embarrassed to admit they don’t actually like each other. The resolution of all their problems: stay drunk!
