Scottish Borders photo of the day: mysterious statue

mysterious statue
I was totally captivated by this work of art — of a woman, nearly life-size, enshrouded — in the village of St. Boswell’s. It’s not a public piece, but a piece left by the artist who formerly lived on the property where it now stands.

Lovely. Hopefully someone will take care that she does not get too enshrouded by the shrubbery.
