Doctor Who thing: Daleks vs Doctors roller derby

I think we can safely say that Doctor Who has not only hit America big time, but that America is hitting back. Because that New World institution, the roller derby, is taking on the show. Check out the schedule for upcoming events organized by Philly Roller Girls:

That’s during the “East Coast Derby Extravaganza” happening on June 29. See Philly Roller Girls for more information, like for tickets and such — I could find no explanation of how Daleks can roller-skate. Roll? Sure — they do that all the time. But maneuvre? I suppose it can’t be as hard as climbing stairs.
