considering running ads here again

Really don’t want to have to do that, but I’m getting pretty desperate.

You can save me and the site from running ads by becoming a subscriber.

If I did have to put ads on the site again, I would do so in a way that subscribers would get an ad-free experience. But I’d rather not have to spoil the site with ads at all.

Do I have to beg? Because I will if I have to. Please subscribe.

i never minded the ads … and i think making it ad free for some and not for others will be too much work for you… just run the damn ads.

Online ads are a lot more obnoxious now than they were just a few years ago. Because they know people don’t pay attention to them, so they *have* to be obnoxious to catch your eye. And still people don’t pay attention, which is why ads pay so little to publishers. Which is why I’m loathe to run them, because they’re obnoxious and they pay too little.

But I’m running out of options.

Subscribing is good. Subscribing may* make you wealthy, powerful, and irresistible to your preferred sex. I subscribed, and now I’m married!

(I’ll live with ads if they happen.)

As I say in the post, subscribers wouldn’t see ads even if I have to implement them again.

I want the site to survive, so even though I’m a subscriber I’m OK with ads. *hugs*

… that doesn’t mean others shouldn’t subscribe to keep them off the site if possible. ;)

Ad away, MaryAnn. Whatever it takes to help keep the site alive. I wish more people would get with us cool cats, and subscribe already.
Subscribing will(may…ok, won’t) make your coffee in the morning and butter your toast!

Even if I weren’t a subscriber, I’d still rather see ads than see the site go under.

Unfortunately, I don’t know if ads will be the site’s salvation. They never brought in much in the past.
