site upgraded to the latest version of WordPress, look out for potential weirdness

I’ve just upgraded the site to the latest version of WordPress. It was a big leap over a bunch of older versions, so even though WP tends to be really good about not breaking a site when updating, and even though everything looks good so far on my end, the possibility exists that you may run into stuff that looks weird or broken, or stuff that behaves oddly.

Please let me know if you encounter anything out of the ordinary. I mean, beyond my ranting.

I’m seeing advertisements even after logging in. This isn’t a huge problem for me.

As I explained in the post regarding the return of the ads, I wasn’t able to find a way to turn off ads for logged-in subscribers. If it’s possible, it was beyond me and the two readers who tried to help.

So far, the ads have already been more trouble than they’re worth, so they probably won’t last.

Oh, right, sorry. No problem.

I see the ads, too. But… What is MA supposed to do? There are too many freeloaders, so she has to pay for things somehow. Congrats, on the poppy duty, by the way!

Unfortunately, the ads are unlikely to make any difference. It looks like they’re earning about $2 a day. :-(
