Star Trek Continues continues with E05: “Divided We Stand”

It’s kinda sad that I am more excited for a new episode of Star Trek Continues than I am for the return of Doctor Who, but there we are. Here is STC episode 5, “Divided We Stand”:

I think this is actually the weakest episode, storywise, that STC has produced yet. But the original series had weak episodes, too, so that’s part of the tradition. And this still looks — and even more importantly, sounds — amazingly authentic, and sends a huge burst of geekdorphins to my nostalgia gland.

Catch up with Episodes 1 and 2, Episode 3, and Episode 4.

They finally go off planet, with that huge amounts of extras and props? Definitely a fun episode. Kudos to the team.

I imagine they took advantage of a local Civil War reenactment organization (the show is produced in Georgia), who will have had all their own props and uniforms. Clever, and budget-conscious.

Yeah, I kind of assumed that, but didn’t know for sure, and either way, its damn impressive.
