my latest sci-fi flash fiction is a teaser of the long serial project I’ve been gearing up for

Because my brain went here with this object, I think that means it’s probably time to get going on that other big fiction project. But I will keep on, too, with this project, “(fictional) notes from The British Museum,” for which I do a weekly visit to a single room at The British Museum in London, zero in on one intriguing object therein, and quickly write a piece of flash fiction inspired by that object.

I didn’t plan this. My brain has a mind of its own, and it does not share its thoughts with me. But this crossover is a good sign that it’s time to start going big.

Here’s this week’s object:

(fictional) Notes from The British Museum #14

And here’s the beginning of the story:

These flash-fiction stories are available to all Patreon patrons at the $1/month level or above. I am not too proud to beg you for your support, so, please, if you like my work and want to see more of it, please throw some cash my way.
