I’m dealing with a family emergency at the moment, something that has building for the past few weeks and is now reaching a crisis point… which may or may not end up being a plateau of crisis that could go on for a while. Impossible to tell right now.
So much of my work here has to be put on hold. (There will be no Weekend Watchlist this weekend, for starters, and no reviews until at least next week, at the earliest. Sorry.)
This has really been a shitty, shitty year for me.
I will have more to say at some point, not least because this situation is bringing into focus other things I’ve been struggling with lately, including my work here and how much longer I can continue on in the manner I have been. I’m still thinking that through and trying to figure out what going forward will mean, and what it will look like.
