I’ve had a lot of fun this past month sharing horror-related streaming recommendations with you, and I hope you’ve enjoyed them, too. Reader Dee posted this comment on one of those Daily Scream posts at Substack:
I’ve been following your blog for ages, but your horror month picks this month have been my favorite. Horror is my favorite genre and I love the flicks you’re selecting here. Thanks for helping me find new gems!
I love hearing stuff like this! It’s incredibly heartening to know that my work here is appreciated. So I’m genuinely not fishing for compliments when I ask you: Did you enjoy the Daily Screams, and should I do more themed Daily Stream recommendations? The next obvious theme would be festive flicks in December, but that could be only the beginning. Please share whatever thoughts you have.
And a reminder: You can get the Daily Streams delivered directly into your email in-box by joining either my Substack or Patreon… even the free versions. You’ll also get notices of new reviews and some other posts (like the weekly Loaded Question); plus, on Substack, you’ll get the Weekly Digest that runs down all the past week’s new stuff. (On Substack you can fine-tune which emails from me you want to receive, so if you only want the Weekly Digest, for instance, or only the Daily Streams and notice of new reviews, it’s easy to set your membership up for that. Patreon offers less fine-tuning, unfortunately.) If you prefer to read stuff in an app, both Substack and Patreon offer that option, too. (That can be useful if you’re subscribed to multiple creators on one of those services.)
Of course, the very best way to show your appreciation of the Daily Stream and my criticism is to join Substack or Patreon on the paid side, if you’re in a position to do so. (Apart from the good karma you get when you help me pay rent and buy groceries, you also get the full text of each of my new reviews directly in your in-box and Substack/Patreon app, too.)
Thank you, as always, for your readership. I wouldn’t be here if not for all you wonderful people.

Quick answer: Loved it! Yes, more please. As for Christmas, though – probably been done to death, can we save till next year? New Year’s movies, much scarcer.
Great!
Or maybe, if I can find such movies, “movies for when you’re tired of Christmas movies but still want to feel festive”? 😀
