• Sounds like a (potential) really great movie was scrapped in favor of same-old comic-book action… Was The Untold Story Cut From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN?

• Oh my. It’s too soon to get excited about this, but I’m excited about this…

• A couple of critics I’ve never heard of and who have — as far as I can tell — next to no audience declare *The Dark Knight* a shoo-in for Oscar Best Picture. Meanwhile, actual critics in London are still waiting to hear about screenings. Taken together, this makes me worry. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Receives Standing Ovation At First Screening
