This could well be my favorite trailer ever. I mean, Munich meets The Player? How can this go wrong? It can’t.
Someday someone will do a study to determine the precise moment when Ben Affleck became officially Awesome. It was before now, of course, but isn’t it weird how it snuck up on us like this? I love how he’s become one of those directors who, when you hear he has a new movie, that’s all you need to know… and then the movie is even better than you think it’ll be. I hope that trend continues here.
Also starring — in addition to all the fantastic character actors you see here — Rory Cochrane, the best actor you’ve never heard of.
Between this and Flight, I am so ready for autumn movies.
