When I saw the title Resident Evil: Retribution on a list of upcoming releases, I thought, Why is this movie getting released? Is there that much demand for it? I honestly did not realize at first that this was yet another new installment in the franchise. Could the title be any more generic?
And then, when I saw this trailer, I again failed to gain any sense that this was a new movie, and not a rerelease of a previous one in the series. It is hardly distinguishable from anything we’ve already seen in this series.
We are rapidly approaching the day of Ass: The Movie.
