I walked over Waterloo Bridge tonight, from the Strand back to, err, Waterloo. The view looks as if aliens have stolen all the world’s most iconic buildings and replanted them in impossible proximity in some ginormous galactic museum display.  I’m sure Philip K Dick wrote a story about this!

In particular, St Paul’s Cathedral is illuminated such that it looks as if it is a really, really bad CGI fake building (probably because the aliens accidentally broke the original, real cathedral).

the scene is on coney island beach. a few years back we elected a supervillain as mayor of new york and he stole all those buldings and brought them to brooklyn.
