Insidious: Chapter 2 trailer: the haunting of Patrick Wilson

I really liked Insidious, but I’m not seeing anything special in this peek at the sequel. Then again, the stuff that made the first film so great couldn’t be adequately represented in a trailer anyway, so I’ll attempt to maintain my optimism.

Also too: Patrick Wilson! *squeee*

I am increasingly of the opinion that the job of a trailer is to make a film look generic – standard horror, standard action, standard romcom, whatever – because (at least the marketers believe) there’s a substantial population of filmgoers who really do want to avoid anything that might challenge them.
