Sony appears to be trying to bury this one with a limited release in the U.S. (it opens on 100 screens this Friday, and no word about any press screening in NYC, which, at this point, probably means there won’t be one), which is kinda weird. Granted, it looks like stuff we’ve seen a million times before, but that cast! Anne Hathaway, Patrick Wilson, Andre Braugher, Dianne Wiest, David Morse. Did they all accidentally sign up for a stinker?
Passengers opens in the U.S. in limited release on October 24, and in the U.K. on November 28.
