the Online Film Critics Society enters the 21st century

Because I’ve got nothing else better to do, I got myself elected to the Governing Committee of the Online Film Critics Society. And as one of my first joint efforts — with my two co-GC members, Eric Snider and Scott Weinberg — we’ve launched an OFCS news blog and OFCS Twitter feed.

Follow, or not, as you please. One of my goals is to make the OFCS actually relevant in 2009, and I’ve only just gotten started, so I totally understand if you’re not quite onboard yet, or are even just saying, “The OFC-what?”

I hear ya. It’s one of the things I’m trying to fix.
