Take a break from work: watch a trailer…
Oh, I know people are gonna be going, “See, mass transit is dangerous! It’s better to be in your car! I’m never ever riding the subway!”
And I will laugh at those people. I rode the subway home after my screening of this flick last night, and I didn’t even think twice about it.
‘The Taking of Pelham 123 opens in the U.S. on June 12, and in the U.K. on July 24.

That’s great for you. Unfortunately most of the rest of the country doesn’t have that option.
(I do try to take light rail when I can, but there’s only really one north-south line here and it’s massively underfunded…and about 20 miles east of where I live. Sigh.)
Hey, that’s not my fault!
But I was making fun of people who *do* have the mass transit option and still don’t take advantage of it because of weird misconceptions about it…
Seattle?
What about a bicycle? Where I live, we have a pretty good mass transit, but still I’m often faster riding my bike.
If it ain’t broken, that is. As it is, like, now at the moment …
Was there ever a movie that could make one paranoid about the horrors in store for you if you ride a bike?
You don’t need a movie for that, Masch. I always fantasize about running down the jerkoff bicyclists who refuse to stay in the shoulder where they belong. “I’m such a superspecial Bicyclist that I can ride 25 in a 45 and you have deal with it!”
KILL!!!
And that’s not even getting to the issue of corking.
Yeah, for corking and “critical mass”, send out the Scoops.
Bicyclists do have a tough time of it, though.
