Fun for Wednesdays! We look at an image from an upcoming movie and write snarky, witty, or otherwise entertaining captions for it. No prizes, it’s just for fun.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is about a not-so-mad scientist who develops a process to make food rain from the sky, among other wacky inventions. Like this one, perhaps:

Sony informs us that the movie is:
The most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children’s book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain.
The film features the voices of Anna Faris, Neil Patrick Harris, Bruce Campbell, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, James Caan, and Mr. T, among others.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will open in the U.S. and the U.K. on September 18.
Visit the film’s IMDB page or official site for more info.
Caption away…

“When this baby hits 88mph, you’re gonna see some serious shit.”
My mind always goes to Back to the Future.
“I’ll show you who’s better at dying.”
So, it’s not really based on my favorite childhood book then. :-(
“Don’t worry, I’m a Scientist. I’m almost 45% sure that I’ve got some idea of what might happen if I do this.”
“Now, I need total concentration because if this goes wrong, it could rip a hole in the fabric of reality thus destroying the universe. But if I get this right, it’ll be the best popcorn you’ve ever tasted.”
I’ll show them. I’ll show them all!
And now… for the first ever, trial run of the electro-permawave-thermal machine! For almost mad scientists who have no chance in hell of taming the wild, fly-away, I just got outta bed, cartoonish hair!
Ex..ter..min..ate this.
Let’s see, if the guys from “Hurt Locker” can defuse *this*.
Now, just let me hook up the charger for my new Chevy Volt…
“One point twenty-one jigawatts!”
I’m with Martin.
Not exactly the greatest place to be…
“If this works, impotence is history!”
