Because my brain went here with this object, I think that means it’s probably time to get going on that other big fiction project. But I will keep on, too, with this project, “(fictional) notes from The British Museum,” for which I do a weekly visit to a single room at The British Museum in London, zero in on one intriguing object therein, and quickly write a piece of flash fiction inspired by that object.

I didn’t plan this. My brain has a mind of its own, and it does not share its thoughts with me. But this crossover is a good sign that it’s time to start going big.
