If there’s one thing I want the film industry to retire, it’s that scream / set of screams. Always throws me out from a preview / film.

I’ll third that. It’s perfect for something already goofy like this, but hearing the Wilhelm scream in anything remotely serious is getting to be as jarring as seeing an ancient Roman gladiator wearing a digital watch.
