Reader Jo writes to suggest that this moment from the latest Wallace and Gromit short, “A Matter of Loaf and Death” [Amazon U.S.] [Amazon Canada] [Amazon U.K.]:
may well be an homage to “Kylie driving a forklift over the edge of a very long drop” in “Voyage of the Damned.”
The moment involves an enraged sheep aiming a forklift at her human mistress. Don’t worry: it makes sense in the Wallace and Gromit universe.
It seems to me that the homage is more toward the “get away from her, you bitch” bit in Aliens, but I could be wrong about that. What do you think?
