Ho boy. I saw Lord of the Dance at Radio City Music Hall in New York a godawful number of years ago, and I remember being flattened back into my seat by what was basically Riverdance gone Vegas. (I’d also seen Riverdance at Radio City.) God bless Michael Flatley: he’s still the same, all these years and millions later.
I, however, question the suggestion of the announcer that you haven’t seen Lord of the Dance unless you’ve seen it like this. If you’ve seen a live show, you’ve seen it in proper 3D, and didn’t need to wear special glasses to experience it that way.
Lord of the Dance 3D opens in the U.K. on March 13, in the U.S. on March 17, and in Canada on March 20.
