Take a break from work: watch a trailer…

Plan 9 Teaser Trailer from Darkstone Entertainment on Vimeo.

So these guys from Darkstone Entertainment wanna remake the Ed Wood anti-classic Plan 9 from Outer Space, except as:

a serious-minded retelling of the original story, paying homage to the spirit of Wood’s film without resorting to camp or parody.

I thought camp and parody were the spirit of Ed Wood.

God helps us in the future.

Plan 9 does not yet have a release date, but it’s looking to be a DVD and/or online release, not a theatrical one.

Oh great. They’re playing up the undead element of the original plot and turning it into JAZ flick. Grrrrrrr…
