Gus Van Sant has made a movie about fracking, and it’s written by star Matt Damon and John Krasinksi. I’ve already seen this (review soon) and I can promise you that you will want to see this.

Well, thank you Boynton Beach for being honest about your political POV! To call Matt Damon “anti-American” just sounds so silly so that it calls into question anything else you might say.
RE: Fracking – the industry is conducting an excellent PR campaign because even I, who is vehemently opposed based on the FACTS that I have learned, have come to question whether there may be 2 sides to the story. But that doesn’t negate the obvious, common sense dangers to our land and our children this “dirty” technology clearly, clearly poses.
RE: the movie – the writers have done an excellent job of being fair and even-handed. They barely touch the facts that could have blown the industry wide-open. As a movie, it is worth seeing because it is touching and important and should be supported financially and politically. As a story, it is kind of formulaic, but it is still a very enjoyable 106 minutes. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2091473/?licb=0.8990700549911708
