Torchwood: Miracle Day: Episode 4: “Escape to LA” (review)
So many dull yet dreary questions raised by this episode! But perhaps the most pressing one is this: Is Esther the dumbest CIA agent ever?

There’s not much new here that we didn’t see in the first, longer trailer, but that won’t stop us from latching onto the few snippets of new stuff and tearing them down into their component parts.
NBC has The Playboy Club, ABC has Pan Am, both set in the 60s. The BBC is a tad more adventurous: its The Hour is set in 1956. Couldn’t we look farther afield, temporally speaking?
Really entertaining in its wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey-ness…
Somebody’s been listening to me. Shut up: let me at least pretend as much.
Thank you, Torchwood, for sucking so much I can’t even enjoy naked John Barrowman.
SFX magazine recently conducted a poll to determine the Top 10 Sci-fi Icons Of All Time, and the just-published results are a tad surprising…
“You have to be prepared to understand that Doctor Who is completely impossible to make and then make it anyway…”
So much wonderful WTF in the trailer for the second half of Season 6…
I’m struggling here to have some fun with “Miracle Day.” Because otherwise I’d be crying.
