‘Jericho’ blogging: “Reconstruction”

(Get a full recap or watch the entire episode at CBS’s official site for the show.) You thought the bombs were scary? The bombs weren’t nuthin’. Now comes the scary stuff: the political machinations and, well, the Second American Civil War. It’s like everything we’ve seen up to now on Jericho has been prelude — … more…

‘Sarah Connor Chronicles’ blogging: “Queen’s Gambit”

(previous: “Heavy Metal”) Poor Andy! He rebuilt his chess computer, the Turk, was all excited about maybe winning that chess tournament (First prize: a military contract! Robot apocalypse, here we come!), and then he lost. Aww. And then he gets shot and the Turk gets AI-napped. Maybe if Sarah had killed him when she had … more…

‘Sarah Connor Chronicles’ blogging: “Heavy Metal”

(previous: “The Turk”) Shows like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles have gotta be a producer’s dream, and an actor’s nightmare. Oh, you don’t like the way you’re being treated on the set, Actor Boy? Not getting enough lines? Asking for more money? ‘Doctor Who’ blogging: “Love & Monsters”

(intro to my Who blogging, please read before commenting / previous: Episodes 8/9: “The Impossible Planet”/“The Satan Pit”) When you’re a kid, they tell you it’s all grow up, get a job, get married, get a house, have a kid, and that’s it. No, the truth is the world is so much stranger than that, … more…

‘Torchwood’ not-blogging: Season 2 debuts!

I’m not gonna get into the kind of depth I usually do — I’ll do that in a couple of weeks, after I finish up blogging Season 1. So no spoilers here. But I gotta tell ya: I had a sneak peek at “Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang” — yes, that’s the title of the Season … more…
