Oh, goodie! I love Amazon U.S.’s Instant Video. I presume Amazon U.K.’s implementation will be as good.

VOD debuts have exploded this year, and I can’t keep up with them. But I’m trying with my new U.S. VOD debut schedule (which you may find helpful, too).

Is it the Internet making it easier for existing fans to share their passion, and hence grow the fandom? Or is there something inherent in the new Doctor Who that is suddenly appealing to more Americans?
I’ve been talking about it loudly and frequently for ages: the entertainment environment is changing rapidly, all sorts of new options are available for acquiring and viewing movies, and Hollywood should be listening to how its customers are telling the industry it needs to change.
