This is very cool. Late night will still be a sausage fest, but at least it won’t be all white.

The terror at change that characterizes what passes for American entertainment has finally overstayed the welcome it never had.
Of course, we have no power to ban anyone, and we’re not even calling for anyone to actually be banned. We’re just daydreaming about those people we’d like to think could no longer enjoy their fame and fortune.
Plus: a whole ton of stuff about Wikileaks and Julian Assange…
…in a nice, nonconfrontational way. I confess that I wasn’t sure whether more than a handful of rabid Daily Show/Colbert Report fans would turn up for the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, but the Mall sure looked really packed on TV this afternoon.
Did Colbert’s right-wing gasbag routine have a greater impact than it otherwise would have if Colbert had testified as himself?
