After a few days to digest this and multiple viewings to comfirm my feelings about this episode, I am sad to say that it treads dangerously close to a point at which I want to disavow it as “real” Doctor Who and start pretending that it doesn’t “count.”
Aww. Doctor Who was originally intended as an educational show, to teach kids about history. So this is a nice return to its roots.
Worldcon is happening this weekend in Reno, Nevada, and we now have the 2011 Hugo Award winners, which were announced last night.
Needless to say, if you don’t want even the slightest hint of what’s to come, best not to read this…

You know, I’m getting a bit sick of all this to-ing and fro-ing. It’s more fun just posting pictures of knitted Daleks and shit. I love Doctor Who, but I don’t love the inside-baseball nonsense about when or whether the show is returning. Just make us some damn episodes, or don’t.
