‘Inception,’ ‘Doctor Who,’ ‘Chicks Dig Time Lords’ take 2011 Hugo Awards

Chicks Dig Time Lords

Worldcon is happening this weekend in Reno, Nevada, and we now have the 2011 Hugo Award winners, which were announced last night.

• Christopher Nolan’s Inception won Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form.

Doctor Who: “The Pandorica Opens”/“The Big Bang,” written by Steven Moffat and directed by Toby Haynes, won Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form.

• The book Chicks Dig Time Lords: A Celebration of Doctor Who by the Women Who Love It, edited by Lynne M. Thomas and Tara O’Shea, won Best Related Work. [Amazon U.S.] [Amazon Canada] [Amazon U.K.]

The Hugo Awards has the complete list of winners. (I’m delighted, but not at all surprised, to see that Connie Willis’ Blackout/All Clear won Best Novel.)
