Amsterdam photo of the day: proof that Simon Pegg is a time-traveler

simonpeggruff

Alternate title: Simon Pegg likes it ruff.

I did a double-take when I saw this portrait at the Museum Willet-Holthuysen (basically a rich 19th-century family’s house that’s been opened to the public). Because, look:

peggnowthen

I mean, come on. Clearly Pegg has been for at least one jaunt in the TARDIS.

Or else… Oh my god… Like Keanu Reeves… Simon Pegg is immortal!

(I was so startled that I forgot to get any info about the painting itself, such as whom it purports to be a portrait of. And I can’t find any info about it online. Drat.)

He actually has an ESTB (electro-static time ball), which he refers to in his book Nerd Do Well. That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this.
