That’s the little settop box that lets you stream stuff from Netflix and Amazon Unbox.
I’m streaming old episodes of All Creatures Great and Small from Netflix as we speak.
Oh my god, Peter Davison was adorable when he was 12…

Ah yes, another technological advancement that wouldn’t exist without piracy! :)
I was very tempted by the Roku until I realized my laptop does the same thing (I can hook it up directly to my plasma) — it’s a great service, that NetFlix Instant Watch. I’ve been going through old Mythbusters episodes on it lately, and catching up on some recent Seagal pictures I’d missed… all for less than $9/mo.

Someone should make a movie starring Steven Seagal as an ass kicking merman in drag with Aquaman as the love interest. They could call it Splashback Mountain Siege. Guaranteed box office gold.

I can hook my laptop up to my LCD tv, too, but I’d rather not. For one, it’s a pain in the ass. For two, it means I can’t be using the computer for anything else at the same time.
